Teaching & Discipleship
Equipping leaders who serve the church, one cohort at a time.

Equip people. Develop leaders. Strengthen the church.

METS is a teaching and discipleship ministry in Morocco. We form men and women in biblical knowledge, Christian maturity and practical ministry skill — not to accumulate information, but to serve, disciple others and build up the church.

Ministry in context

A seminary shaped for the church it serves.

METS exists to teach, disciple and develop strong Christian leaders. We work quietly and locally, with a small teaching team and a long horizon. What we build is not a programme of lectures but a culture of learning that people carry back into the communities they already belong to.

Equip people.
Develop leaders.
Strengthen the church.

Growth follows a path. We teach toward it deliberately, so that what begins as learning ends as ministry that outlives us.

01

Learn

Solid biblical and theological foundations, taught with care and clarity.

02

Grow

Christian maturity formed through study, reflection and honest community.

03

Serve

Skill and confidence to serve well where God has already placed each student.

04

Multiply

Leaders who disciple others, so the work continues beyond one generation.

Six commitments we teach and practise.

01

Biblical faithfulness

Scripture is our authority and our starting point. We teach it carefully and let it shape our conclusions.

02

Christ-centred leadership

Leadership modelled on Christ — patient, truthful and accountable rather than positional.

03

Discipleship

Formation happens in relationship. Teaching is paired with mentoring and ordinary life together.

04

Servant leadership

Authority understood as responsibility. We train leaders to carry weight, not to be carried.

05

Integrity

Consistency between what is taught and how it is lived — in public and in private.

06

Excellence

Careful preparation and honest standards. The church deserves work done well.

Four areas of training, taught together.

The program is integrated by design: doctrine, character, relationship and practice are studied side by side rather than in isolation.

Biblical foundations

A working knowledge of the whole of Scripture and the tools to read it well.

Discipleship

Learning to walk with others patiently, and to prepare them to do the same.

Practical ministry

The skills a leader actually uses week to week, taught in context.

We work alongside others who share the mission.

METS is supported by churches, training organisations and individuals who believe in developing local leaders. Partners are listed by category rather than by name.

Churches

Local congregations who send, receive and support students.

Training networks

Theological educators who share curriculum and teaching expertise.

Mission organisations

Long-term partners providing teaching staff and mentoring.

Individual supporters

Friends of METS who give, pray and advocate for the work.

Study theology. Earn a recognized qualification.

METS offers theological studies that lead to formal qualifications, combining biblical study, theological formation, practical ministry training, and spiritual growth to prepare people for faithful Christian service.

Bachelor of Theology

A comprehensive theological education providing a strong foundation in Scripture, theology, Christian ministry, and spiritual formation.

Certificate in Ministry

A focused program designed to equip those who want to grow in biblical knowledge and develop the practical skills needed for Christian ministry.

Master of Theology

Advanced theological study designed to deepen biblical and theological understanding and prepare leaders for faithful and effective ministry.

Your support trains the next generation of leaders.

Giving to METS goes directly into teaching, materials and mentoring. A modest amount sustains a student through a full season of training.

Prayer support is as valuable as financial support.

Teaching

Faculty time, visiting teachers and course development.

Materials

Study resources and translated texts for every student.

Mentoring

The one-to-one time that turns study into ministry.
